Description
The hand-harvested Fleur de Sel from SAL de IBIZA is characterized by a particularly mild and delicate flavour. This is due to its relatively high residual moisture content, which is characteristic of the fine crystals that are hand-harvested only from the top layer of salt. The crystalline salt structure of these particularly delicate grains allows them to melt in the mouth, making this premium table salt a truly unique spice.
TRADITIONAL AND CAREFUL SALT PRODUCTION
The salt farmers on the Balearic island of Ibiza skim the natural salt from the evaporation ponds as it crystallizes into salt flowers on the water's surface. Our gourmet salt is then simply bottled in resealable ceramic pots in the iconic aqua blue with their golden sun logo.
